About

About The conference builds on a series of successful MIA conferences initiated in 2000, which have been biennially hosted at IHP in Paris. Since 2014, German researchers have joined in organizing the conference and it was decided to alternate its venue between Paris and Berlin. The scientific program includes invited lectures at the interface between research in applied mathematics (PDEs, statistics, inverse problems, optimization, geometrical modeling, optimal transport, etc.) and new developments in various areas of imaging sciences, machine learning and high-dimensional data processing, related to topics including restoration, compressed sensing, natural image modeling, and neuro-imaging.
